Lord Alp Me
It was a dark lagoon on ther12th of
June. Okay, so it wasn't dark, or a lagoon, but it was mid June, time for
an Alpine venture. Armed with a number of sexy road bikes, and escorted by
Monsieur Boardman (he of Olympic, Le Tour and World Champ fame) I set sail
for the Alps, and a special guest appearance on a trip organised by Velo Classic
Tours, an American outfit. Tales of mad monks, naughty videos and excess baggage
are to follow - check out the next few issues of Procycling mag.Meantime it's
a swift turn-around for me, and guested by yet another ear infection I'm heading
east, back "home" to Borneo, finally decalred SARS free.
