Okay, so its been a while; but the last couple of months have been somewhat grey. The Giardia struck hard for a while - and almost got me a TV gig too. Then, just getting over that and the wisdom tooth flared up and caused an ear infection. Add in a real bad twisted neck and life looked rather pale - but worry not, it was still there - and in true bad boy style.
Despite my pleas for an easy time I'm just back from
another marathon
record setting trip ! This time it was to ride all Le Tour de France 100th
anniversary mountain stage finishes within 24 hours. That may sound reasonable
- until you work out that they are several hundred miles apart (Luz Ardiden,
Plateau de Bonascre and Alpe d'Huez)- either way it was done with minutes
to spare for a hard earned beer - so read all about it in Procycling this
month (almost uncut).
