Included
in my recent travels was a multi leveled attack on Le Tour de Langkawi, the
biggest bike race in Asia. This years race was fast and hot, and ended in
a big climax, with American wunderkid Tom Danielson coming out on top.
I'd
been given the task of pre-riding the route on behalf of cyclingnews.com,
but my hopes of selling top secret route info to the riders didn't pan out,
so I had to result to apres race city and "get me into trouble" guiding -
which wasn't too difficult.
Anyway, for starters check out the next issue
of procycling for 9 whole pages and a cover from my trip - luckilly I'd tapped
into Tom's talents well before this, much to the surprise of the others on
the race - so I managed quite a timely exclusive - watch out for this boy,
he's gonna be big, and I'll be there keeping him outa trouble ...
