It's been six long, hot, sunny weeks - but now I'm back to the cold and kebabs of a Welsh winter. I've taken so many flights in the past weeks that I've now been given a uniform and a life jacket, seen so many hotel rooms that I will not need to buy shampoo for the next six years, and shot more film than Fuji factory pilots.

Along the way I've done the stuff featured in the other news stories as well as kayaking all around the west of Sabah in dug out native canoes and sit on surfs, biked around Borneo and Langkawi and had a mighty fine close cropped encounter with an Indian barber in KL. I also have a great supply of dried chillis if anyone's interested.
